After six incredible months since reopening, and with the amazing support we've received from the local community, it’s time to take the next big step: securing the long-term future of the Hare.
Running a pub in today’s climate isn’t easy. Rising costs, tight margins, and the limitations of being tied to a pub group make financial security a real challenge. Even a small dip in trade can have a big impact.
That’s why we want to buy the building and turn the Hare into a freehold pub. Owning the property would give us more control over our future, free us from restrictive supply chains, and help us build a more stable and sustainable business.
We’re inviting the community to be part of something special. By coming together to fund the purchase, we can:
- Take ownership of the building
- Gain greater control over the pub
- Make a sound local property investment
- Unlock future improvements to make the Hare even better
